Conky is no stranger to Dublin’s club scene. After being introduced to drum and bass, techno and breaks in 1998, and religiously attending the likes of Dublin’s Switch and the TempleBar Music Centre for various nights, he invested in his first set of turntables. It took a few years of bedroom DJing before his first set at Refuge in 2003. Evolving through mixing drum and bass, then breaks, then more recently techno and house, his mixing skills have been taken onboard from all angles. Co-founder of jacKit alongside Giles K, Conky has played alongside the likes of Ewan Pearson, Ralph Lawson and 30 Hz. Expect to hear chuggy and driving techno and house – always sure to keep the dancefloor moving whether it’s the opening or the closing set.
